So this happened… Equifax had 143 Million Records Hacked.
You can keep up to speed on the Equifax data breach events on the clark.com website. More importantly, Clark.com has also posted a great Credit Freeze Guide to help individuals through the process of protecting themselves against identity theft. Unfortunately, this will be something we live with going forward. Future reform will be needed to make the “freeze” and “thaw” process free for all states, but for now this is true for only a few states.
